Phone: So the characters can interact with each other, used in the conversation between Matt and Jono.
Hand-held bag: Enables Sam to carry the goods back to Jono. Normally in crime films a hand-held bag is used to, for example, carry stolen money. So we did this in our film.
Car: We gave Jono a car to make him look authoritative and powerful, as he is the boss.
Newspaper: We chose for Jono to want a newspaper. This creates a juxtaposition as our hard-hitting criminal, wants to be participating in a sophisticated past time.
